Smeding Diesel S300 Replacement Turbo 07.5-18 Dodge/Ram 6.7L Cummins

If you’re replacing a failed factory VGT turbo, the Smeding Diesel S300 Replacement Turbo for the 6.7L Cummins offers a more reliable solution with proven performance gains and fewer failure points.

This turbo is built as a true direct drop-in replacement for the factory VGT unit. When we say replacement, we mean it. No additional hard parts are required for installation beyond custom tuning to recalibrate the ECM for the fixed-vane S300 design.

Unlike universal S300 setups, this turbo is engineered to install using factory components. It bolts directly to the stock exhaust manifold using a T4 inlet flange and includes the necessary hardware for a clean install:

  • Oil feed adapter
  • Oil drain extension
  • Two coolant block-off plugs

The result is a straightforward swap that eliminates the electronics and failure points associated with VGT turbos, replacing them with the proven reliability of an S300 fixed-vane design.

Important Note: Because this turbo replaces the factory VGT unit, the factory exhaust brake will no longer function.
