Part of this secret sauce is the SunCoast Pro-Loc Billet Ultimate Weapon Direct Drum. This pairs with SunCoast's 27 Spline Input Shaft, and corresponding components. Given that a Direct Drum travels over double the speed of the engine, SunCoast machined their drum out of 4140 Billet Steel, to help prevent drum failure and catastrophic damage or injury. SunCoast's Ultimate Weapon also maintains conformity at higher RPMs, reducing deflection when the band is applied. This combination has proven to dramatically reduce shift times. In addition to the safety features, this drum has an extended snap ring groove to allow the inclusion of more clutches.
