The AS69 Billet Torque Converter not only improves prevention of turbine slip but is also changed to a dual Torrington thrust bearing design. The apply piston and cover are both upgraded to a CNC Billet construction as well for reliability and increased performance.
Friction materials are upgraded to higher friction coefficient materials for better clamping and holding capacity, also allowing more efficient dissipation of heat over the factory's converter clutch.
